 Litterbutts.com is a
project of PFH® whose goal in a simplistic sort of way is to help make the world a better place.
♥ Did you know careless smoking is the #1 cause of fire related deaths and injuries in the nation?
♠ Did you know more than 3000 animals die in the wild every year from ingesting discarded cigarette butts?
♦ Did you know that cigarette butts do not biodegrade (if at all) for many years. They are made of a cellulose material which traps and holds many toxins and known carcinogens that usually and eventually make their way into OUR water supply.
♣ As the founder of Litterbutts and PFH®, I (and others) have been taking pix of smokers who throw their cigarette litter out of vehicles for a lot of years. We also took pix of smokers at bus stops, parks, schools, and just about everywhere else. Wherever there are smokers, there are usually litterbutts.
It has actually become so widespread and accepted/tolerated by law enforcement that most jurisdictions just ignore it. However, there are many millions of Americans who don't like it and are willing to do something about it.
Here at Litterbutts.com, no more bitching, no more complaining, no more picture taking, no more hard feelings, we're just going to pick them up.
